FEBRUARY 2015 Kenya fields visit !!
We go at the middle of january towards heat and dust of Amboseli tracks in Kenya. We have a a tough program as always ….We are
accompanied, Valérie and myself by the Man & Nature projects’ coordinators, our sponsor for the “ORMITI” environmental project.
Eric Belvaux stayed with us during the first week.
We cover the bush to see the lion’s fences installed in 10 communities.
The device functions very well, no more attacks since their set up.
Here are the rehabilitated springs and protected by a surrounding wall as well as ponds built for the livestock and wildlife watering.
This first semester is satisfactory, but things are remaining to do !!! Actually, it’s very dry and it‘s necessary to wait for the month of
march to start again plantations when the rains will come.

Visits to Kajiado’s County, our partners the CBO GH Kenya introduce us to the governmental authorities.
We also meet the Responsible of Education to whom we present our next project of a nursery school for Riza community.
She is delighted and rely on us to invite her at the inaugural day! We are not yet arrived at this point and we need to refine this file !!
But it will be with a great pleasure to do that!
For Valérie (Vice chairwoman of Gazelle Harambee), it was her first stay in Kenya and she has provided with success, along the
sandy tracks, checks, adjustments, meetings and successive visits at a sustained pace .
We go to see Jane, this young lady who follows a training at the sewery school of Loitokitok, radiant she welcome us with her girl
friends. We paid the fees for this second year which starts in January and she will get her seamstress ‘ certificate.
We are very tired but, very lucky with all theses exchanges and shares with the communities.
Mount Kilimanjaro stands up majestically and wildlife cross our footsteps every days
We leave our hotel in the city center and said bye at the foot of Mount Kilimandjaro to our kenyan’s partners.
