Objective: Improvement of public health through access to drinking water.
Purpose: The completion of a drinking water drilling for a rural population of 1200 inhabitants including 400 children enrolled.

Following the request of the inhabitants of Gbenokpo and the Benin AJEDD association, we undertook the study of a borehole at the village school. A technical feasibility study is carried out to ensure the presence of water in the field and the different strata to be crossed during drilling. At the end of the installation, a Village Water Committee will be in charge of managing and maintaining the project. The water will be sold at a low price to the population and will remain free for the public school. An educational vegetable garden will be set up by our Benedict partner AJEDD.

The drilling is finished, the water goes up for 58 meters, the analyzes are in progress.
August and September 2018
The analyzes of the raised water are excellent, the services under construction, one for the school yard, one for the kitchen garden of the school and one for the village distribution.
October 2018
The GHA team is on the ground, a wonderful welcome is reserved for us at Gbénonkpo village school. The children and women of the village welcome us singing and then comes the time of the speeches of thanks. Everyone agrees to keep the drilling in working order. It is a beautiful finished project that will be followed by our local partner AJEDD association who oversees the organization the first year in order to a perfect empowerment of the project.
